Middle East Buyer Journey

From Discovery to Delivery

The buyer never contacts a supplier. The platform is the only relationship.

1

Discover the Marketplace

A Middle East buyer visits the marketplace — browses 63+ anonymised product listings across 7 trade verticals. No supplier names, no direct contacts. Available in Arabic via Google Translate.

2

Submit an Inquiry

Buyer clicks 'Submit Inquiry' on any listing. Captures: company, quantity, country, required date and specifications. Platform admin is notified instantly.

3

Platform Creates the RFQ

The platform validates the buyer, sanitises the brief and creates a formal RFQ. The buyer is told qualified Australian suppliers are being sourced — no names disclosed.

4

Receive a Formal Offer

The platform sources quotes, applies its corridor margin, and presents a single offer to the buyer: total price, pricing model (EXW/FOB/CIF), lead time and validity period. Supplier identity and original price are never shown.

5

Confirm Order & Pay

Buyer accepts the quote. A Transaction is created. Payment flows through a structured milestone system — Escrow → Milestone 1 → Milestone 2 → Released. SWIFT/remittance proof is uploaded through the Transaction page.

6

Goods Dispatched

The platform coordinates logistics via its 3PL partner. Buyer receives a tracking reference and delivery updates.

Transaction complete — corridor fee recorded. Buyer never learned who the supplier was.

Trade Corridor

The Permanent Intermediary

The platform earns a corridor fee on every transaction — regardless of who sourced the deal.

1

Triage & Validate

Every inquiry is reviewed for buyer legitimacy, product availability, quantity feasibility and sanctions compliance before proceeding.

2

Supplier Matching

The platform selects from its approved supplier registry — matching by vertical, category, capacity and compliance status. Suppliers are notified anonymously.

3

Quote Review & Margin

Admin reviews supplier quotes, applies the corridor_fee_percent and margin_amount, and presents the adjusted offer to the buyer. Neither party sees the other's price or identity.

4

Compliance Gate

Before goods move, the platform verifies every required document — Halal, GMP, Export Certificate, Insurance. All managed via the ComplianceDocument entity with expiry tracking.

5

Payment Custody

The platform holds the payment mandate in structured escrow milestones. Funds are only released to the supplier after compliance and delivery are confirmed.

6

Audit & Governance

Every action is recorded in the immutable AuditLog — timestamped, user-attributed, and court-admissible. No record can ever be edited or deleted.

Anonymisation Architecture

Buyer sees only AU-PARTNER-001. Supplier sees only ME-BUYER-001. Identity disclosure requires an explicit, logged admin action via the PartyAlignment entity. This is architectural — it cannot be bypassed.

Australian Supplier Journey

From Application to Export

Suppliers are vetted, approved, then matched to live demand — never in direct contact with buyers.

1

Apply as Supplier

Supplier clicks "Apply as Supplier" on the marketplace. The 4-step onboarding captures: company profile, trade verticals & categories, pricing model, monthly capacity, MOQ and acceptance of the Trade Corridor Agreement.

2

Upload Compliance Docs

Required at onboarding: Business License, GMP Certificate, Halal Certificate, Export Certificate, Insurance. The platform reviews all documents before approval is granted. Status: Pending → Approved.

3

Admin Approval

Platform admin reviews the full supplier profile and documents. Once approved, the SupplierProfile status is set to 'approved' and the supplier gains access to the Supplier Portal.

4

Receive RFQ Notification

When matched to a live buyer RFQ, the supplier receives an in-platform notification and email. They see the product requirements, quantity, incoterms and delivery date — buyer identity is never revealed.

5

Submit a Quote

Supplier submits: unit price, currency, pricing model (EXW/FOB/CIF), lead time in days, validity period and any supporting notes or attachments. The platform reviews before forwarding to buyer.

6

Order Confirmed — Prepare Goods

If the quote is accepted, the supplier receives an order confirmation and uploads shipping documentation (packing list, export certificate, airway bill). The platform coordinates logistics via its 3PL partner.

Transaction complete — supplier is paid. Supplier never learned who the buyer was.

Why the Corridor Is Inviolable

Three structural properties that ensure the platform earns on every deal — regardless of who sourced it.

Anonymisation is Architectural

Buyer and supplier identities are stored in separate, RLS-protected database fields. Neither party can see the other. Only an explicit, logged admin action via PartyAlignment can disclose identity — and that action is permanently recorded.

The Fee is Structural

corridor_fee_percent and corridor_fee_amount are embedded fields on every Quote and Transaction record. There is no path to completing a transaction on the platform without those fields being recorded and attributed to the operator.

Institutional Relationships

Established institutional procurement relationships with regional health authorities and pharmacy distribution networks across the Middle East. These relationships are owned by the founding team and cannot be replicated through standard market entry.
